African American Golf Exhibitions

Epochs of Courage African American Golf Exhibition has two divisions, a traveling exhibition and a mobile museum exhibition.


Epochs of Courage: African Americans in Golf Traveling Exhibition celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019.  The first showing of Epochs of Courage was in 1999.


The African American Golf History Museum on Wheels launched the flagship mobile museum  in November 2020 at The Masters.


Founder research historian Ramona Harriet has traveled throughout the United States for  two decades, exhibiting and teaching about African American golf history. 


Epochs of Courage traveling and mobile museum exhibitions are based on the extensive research and collection by author Ramona Harriet, and is chronicled in her book "A Missing Link in History". The collection includes a wide-range inventory of memorabilia, publications, images and more testifying to the contributions of African Americans to the game of golf.
