The Epochs: Traveling Indoor Exhibition,
formerly named Epochs of Courage, made its national debut
in 1999 at the Gallery at E Street in Washington, DC.
The Epochs: Traveling Indoor Exhibition displays and introduces a
cultural side of golf that has made extraordinary contributions
to golf and American history.
The exhibition includes an Active Learning Enhancement Program
that uniquely integrates African American Golf History
with thinking, golf, life, and social skills.
This "one of a kind" exhibition adds more clarity and understanding to a little-known history that has so much significance and value.

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the interactive segment about - how some of the old caddies and golfers learned how to play golf with improvised equipment and horrible playing conditions. Kids can learn something from this and I think would enjoy the hands-on interaction.
This exhibition further enlightened me with knowledge of the many contributions African Americans contributed in the past, and from this it has afforded me the opportunity to excel in life. I thank these forerunners sincerely.
